Soul Issues

Much of our Soul Issues involve from the tendency of our emotional heart to control our decision making. Our emotional heart is desperately trying to fulfill those desires. Understanding our self-image can offers us a clear understanding of how the emotional heart is set in its disposition of control. Our bodies autonomic system controls all the functions of our body automatically by stimulating factors both physical and emotional which the body responds to attributes such as breathing, blood circulation, liver functions and our autoimmune function are some of its purposes. Scientists discovered in the mid nineties while the were mapping the brain that we actually have two distinct brains. The rational brain, the one we are most familiar with and an emotional brain which they say controls all information received from the senses. The emotional brain even has control in deciding whether or not the information received from or senses will go to the rational brain. In most times this is the case, but in cases of extreme stress or trauma it withholds the information received by the senses acting independently in crisis situations and we have no rational memory of the event.

The emotional brain has two aspects ruling over our will. The one controls our body functions and the other controls desires of our heart. Because the emotional brains purpose is to defend the body it controls our will and sets the presidents of our beliefs, opinions, and establishes our attitudes. Our attitudes are an automatic responses to life events that are controlled by Subconscious Mind. We rationalize the desires of our heart to establish the self image of who we believe and who we should desire to be and become. The truth is that the heart never willingly releases control. It does however work together with the rational brain in a desired direction or attitude. In other word we think we are in control but for the most part we are really on autopilot. This is evidenced by our heart when cop an attitude and go off on people which happens most often when we are offended. There is a better way for our emotional hearts be controlled. And it is by the Spirit Man. We have free will and we can take charge of our emotional heart by exercising that will an learning the way of the Spirit Self.

From the beginning of our existence we build an image of the world we live in and soon after embark on a journey of defining our Self Image Of course we all understand that the things that define our lives are not only the people who have influence over us but also the environment we live in. Our parents especially influence who we become but not with respect of our peers and teachers. And also the environment we grow up in impacts our image of the world significantly. I grew up in the mid fifties twenty miles from Los Angeles, we never locked our doors and as a small bedroom community just four blocks from a major highway we kids could play until dark without any fear. That environment shaped my perception of the world and today I live in rural southeastern Utah and still don’t have to lock my doors. Not everyone has this luxury and today because of the terrorists attack in this Nation on September eleventh that our nation is griped with the spirit of fear.

Fear is a major Soul Issue, that evolves from the tendency of our emotional heart to control our decision making. These beliefs are defended by both our spirit and emotional heart and they are administered by them in every instance which involves our personal sec In most cases our heart overreacts and in moments of extreme emotional instability we find ourselves loosing our cool. And so we see that in our relationships we also sometimes overreact but it is essential for unity. It is important that we understand the difference between real fear and perceived fear. our emotion of fear to react in times if personal danger. I would like to show you how I learned to overcome irrational fear and developed an attitude of love that led me to having an un-offend-able Spirit.

Understanding fear is essential in overcoming our soul issues. Fear is a childish and selfish emotion that dominates our lives and dictates our actions. It is a necessary element in our childhood development and essential for establishing our internal security. To survive in this world we must learn how to avoid the many angers that could cause us harm and even death. Fear is an emotional attitude (an automatic response) which is deep seated in our perception of formed beliefs. Not only are what we believe about there but most strongly defended in our Spirit Self.

Ancient Solfeggio Frequencies
Ancient Gregorian Chants have a new Scientific Methods called Iso Tones. You can play theses Solfeggio Frequencies at this Web Page. Solfeggio refers to a belief that a set of Nine frequencies that are derived from numerology were used Centuries ago in Gregorian and Sanskrit chants. These frequencies are believed to create positive shifts in your Mood when you are in close proximity to them.

What’s Your Totem

My Totem The Raven

In the mid-80s my friend best friend Tom moved to Anchorage Alaska. Tom had never been on the airplane before and so I went with him as his companion. While staying at his Father’s house I found that there was a park within waking distance nearby. I decided to visit and take some pictures. As I approached I discovered a small Lake, I stood there looking an thinking how desolate it looked with hardly any trees and the all of a sudden a Raven flew my head right over my head in front of me, it flipped upside down and back again and flew away. I did not know what to make of what had been so strangely occurred. I took it as an omen, but I never had any understanding as to what it meant until almost 30 years later.

When I moved to Bluff, Utah seven years ago I began to learn about the Navajo’s belief in Animal Totem’s. Last year a group visited here at the Mission where I live. I saw two people up in the rock that had been shredded from centuries past. The 60 foot high solid sandstone Bluff’s make a fortress along the Mission’s the northern boundary. The fallen rocks make it a precarious climb up to the base of the thirty foot vertical stone abutment. Two Native Americans were sitting on bolder some ten feet below the monolithic ancient sandstone Bluff.

I approached and greeted them as the Mission’s Caretaker. We talked for a while, the man was Navajo and the woman was Asian. All three of us had had similar incidents in our lives and much in common. The man dug into his backpack and pull out a bundle that was carefully tied. He said I want to show you something, after untying the bond all he showed me a beautiful Bear that was carved out of stone and highly polished about the size of a nine volt battery. He began telling of us this strange story of how he had come to possess it. He said that his girlfriend at the time bought it for him, it was very expensive and he could not have afforded it. He said it up on the mantle of his fireplace, and by some strange event it had fallen often broken off the head. He was distraught about it and he prayed, as Navajo’s often often do. He said he heard a voice that told him that it was supposed to be that way to remind him of how fragile his life is. It was then that he realized that it was his Totem. Miraculously the next day the Bears head was restored to its original condition.

Not his words, but this Poem that I’ve found seems to exemplify all he said about his animal spirit totem the Bear. “Deep in slumber, dreams unending, Wise old bear, patient, strong, Send me dreams of transformation. Grant me intuition along With introspection of my life, Inner listening, no more strife.”

About a year later the female Bear that was about two years old came down from the blue Mountains near Blanding Utah 25 miles from the Mission. For three weeks she pillaged animals down by the San Juan River. There were reports of carcasses mostly dogs down there. Her boldness became evident when late-night at my daughter Leah’s trailer. Her and her boyfriend, Bo were awakened shortly after they went to bed with his terrible screaming noise. With flashlights they went out back to the pig pen that they had just built the week before with their two baby pigs that were only a month old. They found that the bear had dragging one of the baby pigs across to the back fence, they yelled and the bear dropped the piglet. They didn’t realize that the bear had seriously slice the belly of the Piglet with her claws, by morning the Piglet was dead.

The Bears escapades did not end there, she made it up to our Mission two miles away and to the East. She started dragging off Sheep from my neighbor Catherine’s pasture. About three of the Sheep ended up missing every night and until the forth night her son Junior went out to check on the Sheep and saw the young Bear dragging off one of their Sheep. He yelled, the bear dropped the Sheep raced across the road straight through a yard where children were playing and down to the river. The children ran in and told their parents, the parents called animal control and the very next morning they were out there at 7 AM and found the bear prowling around Catherine’s Sheep. They chased her up into a tree, the officer shot and missed. Startled by the bullet hitting the Bear,as quick as I blinked my eye bear race across my backyard and right across the place where we were sitting talking about the Bear totem. in Less than two minutes since she had left the tree she had found hiding place up in the rocks. The officer’s spotted her and the animal control officer shot her dead and brought her down several minutes later for us to look at. It was sad to see this happen because these animals barely survive in the wild around here but when they attack livestock it is the law that they have to put them down.

I was remembering these two incidents about the Bears in a writing workshop that the Mission had last year that inspired me to do some this research. Now I really do believe that my Totem defines a part of me that I have never understood before, my Spiritual Self.

“If men had wings and bore black feathers, few of them would be clever enough to be crows.”
Rev. Henry Ward Beecher – (Beecher’s Old Testament theology of Edgar Allen Poe’s negative connotation of the Raven). (Poe, 1850). Quoth the Parrot, “Nevermore?”
For me it is “Neverenough”

Orthinologists believe that the all black plumage helps them absorb and retain heat in high altitudes and northern latitudes. Corvophobia is the unnatural fear of Corvids, especially Ravens and crows. This fear has been promulgated throughout literature, such as the words of Edgar Alan Poe who described them as “. . . grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt and ominous creatures.” In spite of these obstacles, Ravens (as well as the other Corvids) are a highly successful species due to their high level of intelligence, flexibility, and adaptability.

RavenSymbolismRavenMeaning-300x216

Captive birds have even been taught to speak. Ravens enjoy playful flight patterns, such as soaring, tumbling and rolling. Their longer wings make them quite agile aerial acrobats. The Rraven’s intelligence is possibly its most winning feature. Indeed,. Their speaking ability leads into the legend of Ravens being the ultimate oracle. In fact, the Raven is often heard to cackle utterances that sound like “cras, cras.” The actual word cras is “tomorrow” in Latin. This lends more fuel to the legendary fires that distinguish the Raven as a bird who can foretell the future, and reveal omens and signs.

The power of thought and active search for information represents the mind, and its ability to intuitive meaning that the Ancients closely affiliated with the Sun – the light of Wisdom. Countless Cultures point to the Raven as a harbinger of powerful secrets. Moreover, the Raven is a messenger also. So its business is in both keeping and communicating deep mysteries. When the Raven did not return to the Ark, it was said that God turned its feathers black for its failure. So that makes the Raven the alter ego the Dove. The Raven is very pro-mankind and its is said that it’s feathers turned black from sorrow.

Ravens are Humanitarians in Native American symbolic legends also. The Raven was a hero to many Tribes. The Inuit believed that the Raven tricked a Giant Sea Monster into submission. The Raven is also considered a venerated bird of creation, for without the Raven, humans would forever live in darkness.

Dr. Carl Jung deemed Raven symbolism to represent the Shadow self, the dark side of our Psyche. By acknowledging our dark side, we can effectively communicate with both halves of ourselves. Offering a liberating balance and facilitating tremendous Wisdom. In other words, through the consistent unveiling of inner depths and the positive – active utilization of our inner impulses the Esoteric secrets become exposed to the light of our own consciousness. The information that I have learned on this Post reveals what I have come to believe about my Spiritual personality as the characteristics of the Raven’s personality mimic my own.

Chapter Three

Spirituality-transcending-Life

Spirituality page was taken from a Doctoral Study that I published on the web in 2006 called the New Century Believer. I taught it as a ten week study course at the Church that I was attending at the time, I was one of the Associate Pastors there. Not many people are interested in the Theology of the Bible and it just doesn’t float there boat. But if you can get through the eight paragraphs posted here you will have a better understanding of the spirituality and nature of the Spirit Self. I wanted to leave you with just one of the practical understandings and knowledge on how to change your Spirit Self and begin to live a life unfettered of fear and negative attitude.

There are two types of people, fear is a most powerful motivator that absolutely governs the world we live in. We see it everywhere from the beginning of time man has used it to corrupt our world. Type A people are ambitious, rigidly organized, self conscious, sensitive, impatient, and take on more than they can handle. Often called Workaholics. People with Type B personality by definition generally live at a lower stress level and typically work steadily, enjoying achievement but not becoming stressed when they do not achieve.

It is a natural aspect of our emotional mind to desire control of the situations in our lives. But it is fear that motivates to control others that we might overcome our own fears. The definition of Avarice is to control others by use of money or power and usually involves both. We see it ever so prevalent and increasing in our present society. Big business by way of advertising is bent on programming our minds, using the emotional of fear to get us to buy their products. Pharmaceutical companies are very prevalent in the media; have they ever sold a product that cures the our problems – no they design them so that we become dependent on them for a lifetime of use. So many of them have side affects that cause other health problems.

Our Spirit is recognized in our self image. We are aware of it in others on a spiritual level of understanding. There are four spiritual attitudes that make up our self image. There are honorable ones of Love (Charity), Meekness, Faith and Righteousness and virtue-less ones of Hate, Pride, Doubt and Injustice. The prevalence of fear in our society cause us to defend our self image and causes some to choose the less virtuous attitudes. But because we have a choice we can nurture attitudes that are unencumbered of the negative aspects of fear and foster a better Spirit Self.

Our emotional mind and our rational mind work together to create our beliefs about our selves; our self image. Our emotions are not the power behind our actions. Our emotional mind holds the beliefs we have about our self image. These beliefs make up our self image and are the spirit that empowers our actions. Every action we have has a motive behind it and is powered by the image of ones self. Like our bodies we can exercise our will to change our beliefs and our self image.

Love or Charity, giving of oneself without the motive of selfishness, is exercised by purposing in our emotional heart to establish Joy, an emotion of well being and success in fulfilling our desires. We can obtain this virtue by helping others obtain their desire. Peace is a rational construct of the mind. We exercise it by purposing in our mind to foster agreement with others. When we are judging others with contempt for their behavior we are not peacemakers. How often have we judged others and misbehaved in the same manner? Doing that we are dishonest with ourselves, so how can we justify our judgment? When we purpose in our minds to act with Pace and Joy we develop a belief of Love which over time becomes a Spiritual Attitude of Charity. Our subconscious emotional heart doesn’t like to change its beliefs that control our internal security so it makes it difficult to change our self image. I will show you an effective way to address this problem in changing your self image after I show you how to live a life of Meekness, Faith and Righteousness.

Meekness is not weakness. It is the power that Jesus use to cleanse the Temple of the money changes. Meekness isn’t letting people take advantage of you or abusing you; it is choosing to allow them to use you. You’ll find that it has an advantage in your relationships. Gentleness is the attitude of the heart that fosters a spirit of amiable behavior towards others. Goodness is the rational construct of the mind that is complementary with Gentleness and enables us to develop the spirit attitude of our self image in Meekness. Gentleness is exercised by the good things we do out of unselfish service for other people.

Faith can be exercised by purposing in your heart the desire to control you selfish emotions. These emotions are naturally attending to secure our emotional security. Love as mentioned, precedes Faith. By exercising Love; giving of yourself freely we can then overcome selfish desires. This Self Control over our selfish desires is tempered by Temperance; waiting in patience is the rational counterpart of the belief of our minds that establishes us in our spirit Faith. Faith is the evidence of that which you desire to achieve; established in the substance of that desire by your spirit as you wait for your desire to materialize. By exercising the will of our emotional and rational minds we can grow in the spirit of trusting ourselves and establish an attitude of Faith.

A righteousness attitude is established by honor, a temporal belief and virtue, an emotional strength which together creates a self image of morality. Righteousness is only reveled in ones spirit by growing the fruits of Faith, Meekness and Love. The nemesis of Faith, Meekness and Love is; distrust, doubt and fear, a prideful and arrogant stubbornness, and the rebellious, contentious, hateful heart respectively. They are the attitudes that lead to injustice and immoral wickedness. The fruit of our character reveals our spirit which is the self image we hold of our whole being.

It is our human nature to defend our self, both physically and emotionally. The beliefs of our spirit automatically do this to protect our self image. When man fell from God’s grace, they lost their Righteousness. Their image of themselves no longer sustained moral virtue or honor with God as he judged their rebellion as unjustified. From the beginning of man we have a history of violent behavior trying to justify our unrighteous behavior. The obvious peril of our world is escalating and it is time as individuals that we change our behavior before it is to late for ourselves and our world. Love, Meekness and Faith is the only answer for a dying world.

Here is one of the Keys to improve your life.

I have known about what Social Scientist had discovered about changing ones negative habitual habits such as overeating or smoking for about ten years now and even tried it, but without any persistence. They say that you can break any habit in 21 days. I had the opportunity, and I say opportunity only because in the past I would beat myself up emotionally for doing such a foolish thing as spraining my wrist so badly. It was so badly sprained and swollen that i could not use it at all, and greatly painful. I was forced to use my left had for everything for over two weeks until it healed. You can imagine how difficult this is, if not just tie your right hand down and see how difficult it is without the right hand that we are so dependent on. By the way after a week and the swelling not going down I looked on the web for a solution. Ice it was the most popular remedy, however the were a few sites that said that massage therapy was very effective and that there were massage therapists trained for the job. I thew that the fluid causing all of the pain was Lymph that filled my hand to immobilize it and search for pathogens that might be causing the injury. The Lymph System does just that. I plan to post an article and blog it about how important the Lymph System is to our Immune System, I decided to write the article for my Mother who has Edema in her legs.

As I began using only my left hand I realized first off that for all of these years that I was clumsy was due to my body being out of balance. We are very much dependent on our dominate had to carry the burden of almost all of the work that we do with the hands. After my right hand healed enough to use it I decided to continue with using my left hand. There was an amazing transformation, I was beginning to be more coordinated in using my left hand and it was transforming my emotional attitude about myself. Because I quickly, within the first week, I had the hope that continuing using my left hand I would achieve a balanced Body and grace apart form being clumsy. The Social Scientist say it works to synchronize you right and left Brain. I can actually see myself as being nearly ambidextrous in about a year.

Chapter Four

The Box Metaphor

Let me begin by restating the ideas behind the “Introducing The Treasure Vault. Our life is a metaphor of intertwining aspects of our Psyco Emotional and Spirit Self. Although the nuance of this relationship seems to be unrelated they actually work together create Life in our Body. It’s is a term that I used to explain the relationship between our two Brains, the Rational and Emotional Brains. They work together creating a foundation of understanding that generates our Spirit Self. Our Spirit Self is a manifestation of our Self Image and holds everything that we and the World around us. Your Self Image is only visible for most people in the actions of you Body Talk and the expressions of the words you speak. The expressions of Body Talk are most evident in our facial expressions, intuitive we read the expressions of Love and Fear, these powerful expressions help us to make decisions and judgments about people around us and our environment. When we speak words containing an allegory to the of fact of a statement, we can discern the underlying Fear or Love of what we heard.

I remember Seminar that I attended many years ago, the commentator mentioned something about his Wife. From his facial expressions and what he spoke to see that there was an underlying fear that he had about his wife’s health, even though he was not directly addressing that particular issue. When we are aware of the projection of a person’s self-image, it better helps us to understand a person’s attitude about themselves and others.
In the Introduction to the Treasure Vault at “Old Mission Arts” the metaphor of a Box as a visual metaphor to explain the relationship between our physical world and the invisible world that is now being explained by Quantum Physicists.

“A human being is part of the whole, called by us the “Universe” – a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical delusion of consciousness.” Albert Einstein

Finding a clear understanding of our world around us and the big picture of both the inner and outer dimensions of it will help to gain a perspective of what we believe. A Priest Ian Corbett, that I had the pleasure of hiking with all over Utah made a profound statement in one of his Sermons. He said,The Land Shapes You. I have pondered this statement a few years now and come to the understanding that, The Land shapes you, making you go deeper, raising your personal expectations of the concept that freedom is an absolute. Our best moments usually occur when our body and mind are stretched to its limits in a voluntary effort to accomplish something difficult and worthwhile.

We think and believe that we are free, but that is far from the truth. The constructs of our minds and emotions are a static foundation of what we believe in the world around us. Our subconscious mind controls both the body and the emotions in a state of homeostasis which means remaining stable or remaining the same. Learn more — Click Here

I say this in all of my Seminars on Health and Nutrition. Your subconsciousness mind controls about 90% of all your actions and decisions, and it is on auto pilot. The subconscious mind is an automatic emotional response based upon your beliefs holding your Self Image in Homeostasis.

Homeostasis was coined by Dr. George Bernard with respect to the way the body keeps all of the systemic activities of the body in balance. Did you know that your Soul and your Spirit or (Self Image) operate on the same principles. All three of them (Body Soul and Spirit) work together to give balance and security to our whole being. So we being basically lazy or more distinctively put; the Body, Soul and Spirit conserves energy for the things that the subconsciousness mind is programmed to be important from the beliefs of our spirit person-self image. Everything that is received by our five senses is filtered by the subconsciousness mind before it is received in our rational mind. This means that about 90% of our actions are emotionally derived. By developing a proper mental attitude for health and well being and practicing positive statements about yourself. Such as “I know and believe my health is improving”, and say them out loud. We can change what we believe about our Self Image.

We are being held in bondage to whatever our attitudes are about ourselves. A radically new understanding has emerged at the leading edge of quantum science. They now recognized that the environment, and more specifically, our perceptual interpretation of the environment, directly controls the activity of our genes. Every cell in our body is innately intelligent and can survive on its own but represents the cooperative effort of a community of perhaps one hundred or more trillion single cells in your body. They share the vision that we perceive as the minds and Spirit Person work together to bring balance and security to you. Learn more about your Body

Normally our Body’s energy resources are used to sustain growth but can be diverted to a system that will provide protection during periods of stress. So that is why prolonged or chronic stress is so debilitating, stress robs the energy demands required for body maintenance and resulting in dysfunction and disease. Our subconscious mind, which is neither creative nor reasonable, and the basis of all learned behavior has been found to control on our bodies on a cellular level. However, in many people the subconscious mind is programmed to a level of self-sabotaging or at least a limiting behavioral response that undermines our best efforts.

The insidious part of this autopilot mechanism is that our Subconscious Behaviors are programmed to engage without the control of or the observation of the conscious self. Since most of our behaviors is under the control of the subconscious mind, we rarely observe them or much less know that they are even engaged. So the attitudes of our subconscious mind automatically control our health and whatever we be

I probably should explain what I mean by Spirituality before I get on to the heart of the matter. I am not talking esoteric or religious doctrine but scientific fact. Science is coming along side what has been known for thousands of years. Quantum physics has now evolved to understand that there are more than what our five senses can hear, see, smell, or touch. Actually there are more senses that we are able to feel, like our heartbeat and respiration and all of the feelings we get from our mouth to where it comes out the other end. And then there is our emotional and heart feelings. What our scientists have discovered is even beyond our intuitive understanding, things like cellular memory and ghost cells.

Fantom leaf

Kirlian photography, is where all matter have a ghostlike image that shows the images of an aura when photographed. And even inanimate objects like Rocks also have a vibration that can be measured. This might blow your mind, a Kirlian photo of a cut leaf shows it as if the whole leaf is still there, that has to be enough evidence of our Spirit Man. We live in this amazing world of Geo-Magnetic Fields around the earth and Schumann Resonance frequency that we are unaware of but affect our lives in a dramatic way. My point is that we only see what we want to see and the thing that we can’t see or feel are nevertheless all around us. Scientists have been able to measure all of these things but Spirituality has never been able to be measured, it is a ghost. I explain in the rest of the this article by using an analogy of a Box to explain Spiritually of The Treasure Vault. You have heard of the term, thinking outside of the box? I describe Spiritually as Thinking Inside of the Box.

There is new Biological evidence in the past few years that your DNA does not control functions of our individuals cells. Scientists removed the nucleus containing the DNA and the cells functioned in every capacity normally. With this amazing discovery along with Quantum Scientists understanding, we find that our cells have a invisible energy source and blueprint to function according to the DNA of the individual cell even after his DNA has been removed! What they have discovered is that at a cellular level we can actually change what we believe.

Much of our lives are troubled by “Psychological Reversal”; a self-destructive negative influence of the Subconscious Mind. In Childhood; Fear, Shame and Guilt form a foundation for the spirit of unworthiness and we are continually looking for new ways to solve our problems. Thinking outside of the box has been the popular way to do this. It is a thinking process called lateral thinking. With lateral thinking problems are solved by indirect and a creative approach. We use reasoning that is not normally obvious and ideas that may not always be gained by the use of the traditional step-by-step logical approach.

Thinking Outside of the Box

The ‘Box’, is said to symbolize an unimaginative and constrained way of thinking, in a metaphorical sense – in the form of a three-dimensional Box . Here is an illustration a game that I found that poses the question of “Thinking Outside of the Box”. The puzzle created with nine balls asks the question of how to connect all of the balls with one continuous line.

Puzzle

The “Out of the Box TV” series is another use of lateral thinking used to encourage creative thinking in Children on this popular television show. The series earned three Parents’ Choice Awards for it’s excellence in television and an Emmy nomination. The children use large boxes to create environment that fostered creativity. The theme song from the series is a bit obnoxious, in my opinion, but many Children grew up with an understanding that they could create their spaces on with a bunch of boxes. These are just two examples the lateral thinking can be used to think Outside the Box.

What I am proposing in the Box Metaphor is not lateral or abstract thinking, it is thinking inside of the Box. Most of us live in box like houses to protect us from the elements. The relationship between our physical, social, psycho emotional, and our self image are the elements of what I call the Box Metaphor. There are two parts to the box, that which is obvious in our relationships with our bodies and that which is hidden in our spirituality and soul issues. The relationships that we have with other people and our environment motivate us to act according to the circumstances of the moment. But it is the psycho emotional and the self image of our spirit person that in most events is an automatic response based on our beliefs about ourselves and others.

We all judge each other by appearances and have a first impression of someone one when we first meet them. Our first impressions rarely justified the true personalities of people. When we get to know them, their true personalities reveal their inner beliefs. How many times has someone pushed your buttons? And found that you are not always in control of your emotions. In this next section I want to talk about some people application that could change your World view.

I Accidentally injured my right wrist working in the garden; it was so badly sprained and swollen that I could not use it at all, and greatly painful. I was forced to use my left had for everything for over two weeks until it healed. You can imagine how difficult this is, we are so dependent on our hands for everything. After a week and the swelling had not gone down so I looked on the Web for a solution. Icing it was the most popular remedy, however the were a few Websites that said that massage therapy was very effective and also that there were massage therapists trained for the job. I knew that the fluid causing all of the pain was Lymph fluid that had filled my hand to immobilize it, searching for pathogens that might be causing the injury. The Lymph System does just that.

As I began using only my left hand I realized first off that for all of these years that I was clumsy was due to my body being out of balance. We are very much dependent on our dominate had to carry the burden of almost all of the work that we do with the hands. I started using the fingers of my left hand beginning at the knuckles pushing the fluid back into my wrist and it moved the fluid back up into my arm. I did this a couple of times a day and after two days I was seeing the swelling going down. After a week Edema in my hand was gone.

After my right hand healed enough to use it I decided to continue with using my left hand for other things like brushing my teeth, combing my hair and even shaving. There was an amazing transformation, I was beginning to be more coordinated in using my left hand and it was transforming my emotional attitude about myself. My awareness of my activities also increased. Because the massage therapy worked so quickly, within the first week, I knew that by continuing by the use my left hand I would achieve a better balanced Body and an attitude of grace apart form being my old clumsy self.

Gardening becomes an excellent metaphor for understanding principles relating to the Box Metaphor. Gardening tools are used to break up the ground, hoeing weeds and raking the debris. After preparing the ground you plant the seed and water, you continually weed and water and watch the garden grow. When we decide to change our Attitudes we do it in much the same way as Gardening. A hard Heart use watered for any others. The weeds of offenses must be hoed, raked and burned. New seeds with unselfish and altruistic motives can now be planted. Social Scientist discovered many years ago that a person can change their habits, intentions or even the desires. They found that by practicing a script written down in long hand for twenty-one days that this could be accomplished. The Church has been doing this for over 2000 years. They call it liturgy, a written script that is said out loud in the service readings. After about a half a year of Sunday’s it instills the beliefs that the liturgy portends. I attend St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church of the Navajo’s in Bluff, Utah. This Church has used Liturgies since the 15th century. What I have noticed after five years of attending the services is that the liturgy instills faithfulness. Faithfulness is not Faith.

Gary Craig pioneered a new psychology called Emotional Freedom Technique. It’s unique advantage of using the bodies radians tapping points to activate the brains subconscious mind while saying positive script statements. From the beginning of time Men and Women have had problems new relationships with each other. I believe it that it is the second biggest tragedy in our world besides War. This is a subject that has plagued our society with Divorces increasing dramatically in the last 50 years. Most psychologists and marriage counselors don’t have a clue to the problem. And yet it is so simple, all relationship are based on trust and when the trust is broken the Marriage fails. It starts with small offenses that accumulate over the years and then there is the last straw that breaks the Camel back.

I have been through two Divorces and in retrospect looking back I realize the exact offense that caused our marriages to breakup. It is never one-sided, a spouse can go for years holding in the emotional offenses without ever telling their partner. Then shortly after their partner is offended the relationship goes downhill quickly and then somebody says, “I can’t do this anymore”. What Marriage Counselors not understand is there is a simple fix this problem. Technical is called Repentance: asking someone to forget you or your faults, apologizing for your actions and saying you’re sorry and that you will do the very best that you can to resolve the issues of the Marriage.

Understanding the differences between men and women is the first step in resolving issues between Men and Women. Here are some of the differences that should help you to have more compassion for your spouse.

Women are emotional thinkers, acting more on their feelings than their thoughts.
Men are rational thinkers, what actions are based on how they understand their world.

Women talk about the issues of their life.
Men think about the issues of their life.

Women think in a circular fashion of subjective feeling with regards to their issues.
Men think in a linear objectivity of understanding with regards to their issues.

A woman needs to know that a man cares about her.
A man needs to know that a woman respects him.

Women measure their self image by how well she communicates her
feelings and how well they are acknowledge.

Men measure their self image by how well they are appreciated for
their skill and knowledge.

Women are nearsighted, they don’t see the forest for the trees.
Men are farsighted, they don’t see the trees for the forest.

There are many differences between men and women that cause trouble in our relationship. The statements above are of great value for understanding how men and women think and act differently. Study them and hopefully they will enrich the relationship with each other.

Keys

It is interesting how our two minds work together. Both the rational mind and Subconscious mind work together form our will. The Amygdala in the cerebral cortex in our brain responsible for our decisions. Everything that comes in from our five senses goes immediately to the amygdala, and one 15th the second later the information is sent to the rational brain. The memory banks of both brains store information about similar events throughout our whole life. So what happens next is the Subconscious mind sends the emotional understanding along with a rational understanding from our brain to the frontal lobe, resulting in the decisions that we make almost instantly. When we make judgments about anything, from the time of our birth to now they become beliefs about who we are in our relationship with the world that we perceive. We are influence by our parents, peers, environment, and our social standing. These beliefs become our Self Image evolving into a stable and secure personality. So the Keys in understanding already been pre-program your Self-Image. Reprogramming your Self-Image can only happen by choice, what you choose to changing your Lifestyle. Spiritual Laws

Everyone Dreams of the higher Self. We dream of ground scenarios of what we think our life will be like. Famous seem to influence us the most, and some people even aspire to be like them. When we dream at night is to justify our emotional problems. But these kinds of Dreams are of what we think our lives could be like. There are spiritual laws that might help you realize your Dreams. Why do they call it Spiritual Laws? There is nothing esoteric about a law, we live with it every day. There are only concepts, precepts, ideas and unorthodox laws that govern the universe. As we are an integral part of the universe these laws affect our inner man or the part of us that is hidden from view. So by definition Spiritual really means Hidden. That which Is hidden like I show in my illustration of the box metaphor, the shaded portion of the box. By consensus there are seven Spiritual Laws that govern our Universe.

Wikipedia has an article expressing these views — Click Here One of the rules not explained here is a Golden rule that governs everything in the Universe. It goes like this,”Everything happens in the spiritual world before it is expressed in our natural world. What I’m saying here is that whatever we are seeing and doing create the environment of the reality that we are living at the moment. I mentioned before this new reality that has been discovered by Quantum Scientists and Biological Scientists. What you choose to behold unfolds before you.

You should start by discovering and exploring the possibilities that govern your self-image. The three distinctions of the Treasure Vault, Tools – Keys – Spiritual Laws should be examined to find the beginning of your journey. Use the keywords here for finding resources of understanding the path that you choose to take. For example, if you just Googled Tools you would give to broad of a search. Say that the new image that you want to create is like mine, you would define the word “Tools” by prefixing it with the words Healthy Nutrition. Do this also with the keyword Keys using also the distinctive words that you have chosen for changing your Self Image. You have the ability to choose your Lifestyle in whatever direction you want, looking within yourself and diligently searching you will find a vision that is best suited for your purpose in Life.

One more thing that you might want to do is play your cards right. The Ace of Diamonds is Relationships, our relationships are the most important thing in our life. Playing this card will reap you the greatest rewards that you can imagine. And like Johnny Cash says in his song The gambler, “You got to know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em,. Know when to walk away, know when to run.” I tell my students that the definition of Friends is, “Friends help each other.” And to make lasting friend you should show appreciation, not by just saying Thank You, but by adding value to their life. There is another law of the Universe, if you give it away it will be turned to you in some form or another, it is also called the Law of Love.

Chapter Three

There’s always a vigilance and weeding of the new weeds that continually pop up in our lives.

Here are some Self-Image Attitude Tools that could help you to change your Lifestyle. When you learn, practice and implement these principles they can bear much fruit as attitudes of your Self-Image.

Developing these Self Image personalities results in a spiritual understanding and power that can benefit your Lifestyle.

Ancient Gregorian Chants

Ancient Gregorian Chants have a new Scientific Methods called Iso Tones. You can download theses Solfeggio Frequencies for your MP3 Payer. Solfeggio refers to a belief that a set of Nine frequencies that are derived from numerology were used Centuries ago in Gregorian and Sanskrit chants. These frequencies are believed to create positive shifts in your Mood when you are in close proximity to them.

The origin of the Solfeggio scale can be traced to a Medieval hymn to John the Baptist. It was in the 11th century that a Benedictine monk, Guido d’Arezzo, observed that the first syllable of each line of the hymn formed one of the syllables of the scale. And that if taken successively they formed a six-tone scale.

And in the mid-1970’s Dr Joseph Puleo began his research of the Solfeggio frequencies. The Physician and America’s leading herbalist found 6 sound frequencies in the Book of Numbers. In chapter 7, verses 12-89. The frequencies that he found there are 396 Hz, 417 Hz, 528 Hz, 639 Hz, 741 Hz and 852 Hz. These syllables used to denote the tones of the scale: Ut, Re, Mi Fa, Sol, La. They were taken from the hymn to St. John the Baptist. The technology for measuring frequency is a measurement of Hertz or “cycles per second”

At the turn of the century the awareness of DNA entered the collective consciousness of the world. We have incarnated into this human experience as divine beings with a blueprint, a set of instructions. We know now that a very small percentage DNA (3%) instructions make up our Physiology.

Carl Sagan writes that most of our genetic information (about 97%) is unused DNA. He refers to this as “genetic gibberish.” It is possible that most of our Selves still lie dormant for our human potential.

There is the Old paradigm of Religion. Our Potential remains a mystery to the human mind, therefore we gave it a mystical name called “SPIRIT.” It was thought that our Spirit is something that is detached from who we were, something we didn’t have and could only be gained through the systems of most religions.

The old paradigm and its premise stated that we began as biology in the womb of our mothers. Telliard deChardin tells us that we are not a human being trying to attain a spiritual experience, but, rather, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. This shift in perception causes a tremendous difference in the way we perceive ourselves in the our space-time continuum.

Dr. Deepak Chopra said: “Quantum physics has found that there is no empty space in the human cell, but it is a teeming, electric-magnetic field of possibility or potential. Today there is a lot of evidence and understanding about Solfeggio iso tones. Biochemists have used the frequency 528Hz to repair human DNA. They found that the “C”cord would be able to repair your DNA.

Below I have together an array of You Tube videos and downloads that you can experience the full nine different Solfeggio Iso Tones that affects our bodies. Some of the advantages of are: Speeds up healing, recovery, boost your body and mind, release you from stress and opens minds for spiritual experiences.

Child Development

The parable of the sower As he was scattering the seed, some 1,) fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and 2.) they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed 3.) fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. 8 Still 4.) other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times. Solfeggio Child Developement

Emotional Develment</strong

The emotional development of Children from conception to death.
In the womb a child can sense the emotions of the mother. Negative emotions and extreme trauma can greatly affect the development of a child’s emotions after birth as well as a difficult birth itself.

Physical development is critical in the first four weeks of the child’s health, the colostrum of the mothers milk develops a strong immune system for later life. From four weeks to one year old a child experiences the world around them primarily with their five senses. In reality they are still using a spiritual intuitive reasoning to understand this new world that they are growing in. They begin to express themselves in speech by watching their parents lips and hearing the words spoken to them and then trying to imitate those words. With much repetition and understanding of the words begin to establish the reality of the world around them. From the ages of 1 to 3 years old trust relationships are established and their vocabulary grows as they learn about the world around them. And yet they still haven’t developed a spatial relationship in their environment. If you offer a three-year-old a piece of apple they will most likely say yes. If you asked them after putting the Apple behind your back and ask where is the Apple often don’t know. Preschoolers come to school with an awh of social involvement and an intense desire to learn.

My experience with preschoolers revealed that some of them, 15 to 20%, come with deep-seated emotional problems due to negative parenting and also sibling rivalry. The learned behavior from these children often causes them to be jealous of their classmates. Nutrition plays heavily on all Children’s development. Poor nutrition in a preschooler can cause midrange attention deficit. It is evident which children are not being properly cared for at home, they perk right up right after having a snack. The trust level is high among preschoolers and continues to the second grade. I found this to be true because these children when I first meet them often come and hug my leg, they continue up until the second grade. These children are it in the best position for learning than any other grade level, they achieve the highest scores on their AR tests. You have to wonder why the fourth and fifth graders are not scoring as well.

Eight years old is a new beginning for children. In the summer they begin to establish relationships and build new friendships with their peers. They are experiencing new freedom of independence from their parents and guardians, and their dependence in reliance on them dwindles until about 10 years old. Girls experience a physical logical change in their sexuality while boys change around 12 and 13 years old. Girls bodies mature faster and they are taller for the same age in this growth period, and because they are more emotionally stable they tend to pay better attention and score higher on tests. The boys, who are more rationally minded and competitive seem to have a attention deficit from their growing conflicts in the classroom. Throughout these grades 3 through 5 the children are threatened by their environment both in and out of school and seek out close relationships to establish best friends. I have found that on the playground children congregate with their best friends and there are often arguments that develop between those who are not best friends. So often I’ve seen children crying because of perceived nonacceptance or misunderstood actions and words. By the time the children reach the end of the fifth grade they develop an attitude of full independence. Some children develop earlier than others and some children hold this rebellion inward instead of rebelling outwardly violently in a real and dramatic way.

I have seen this behavior as young as kindergarten children. Mostly in young boys have been abused at home and the only way they know how to react is that learned emotional behavior that the learned from parent or siblings. When substituting in the second grade class within the first few minutes of the class out of the corner of my eye I saw a young man kick someone. Class told me right off that the teacher has a table over in the corner and that when someone misbehaves they have to go there and write why they have done that bad thing. I took him to the table and assumed that he would write down why he had kicked the other student. I checked on him later and he hadn’t written anything, and again later and still nothing after I explained why he needed to explain his actions. At the end of the class I went over and sat down with him and having an understanding of learned behavior from parents and our siblings I guess that someone was kicking him at home. I asked him to did have an older sister, I guessed right. When I asked him if she was kicking him he started crying. I calmed him down and said it is going to be okay. I said that he needed to tell his sister that it isn’t right that she kicks him and how would she feel if he kicked her. Then I said that he needed to forgive his sister and himself for not telling her to stop kicking him. We said it together and he hasn’t kicked children since then. When I substituted for the fifth grade teacher it was total chaos in that class. The teacher had not established the trust or respect of his students.

Even though I teach library as a volunteer and most of these students knew me for the past three years I didn’t get the respect that I thought I would. Was so difficult getting them to do their lessons because all they wanted to do was affirm their feelings with their best friends. There were at least three girls and four boys doing this constantly disrupting the rest of the class. Overheard a conversation that a group of girls were having and asked what they were talking about. I could sense the embarrassment when I asked them and they wouldn’t tell me because I knew they were making fun of me. That was last year, this year there is a different spirit that pervades the schoolyard in classrooms. I’ve noticed that there are less arguments on the school grounds during recess. In the fifth grade class or Angels compared to last year’s devilish behavior that made that class AR scores lower than the second grade class. Not all students are prone to this miscreant kind of behavior., The fifth grade class of last year turned out a few above average students.

Physical Development

Some age-related development periods and examples of defined intervals are: newborn (ages 0–4 weeks); infant (ages 4 weeks – 1 year);
toddler (ages 1–3 years);
preschooler (ages 4–6 years);
school-aged child (ages 6–13 years);
adolescent (ages 13–19).[
Young adult 25 to 32
Middle adults 32 to 42
Older adults 42 to 65
Senior citizens 65 to demise

2] However, organizations like Zero to Three and the World Association for Infant Mental Health use the term infant as a broad category, including children from birth to age 3.

Piaget stages

Sensorimotor: (birth to about age 2)

According to Piaget, when an infant reaches about 7–9 months of age they begin to develop what he called object permanence, this means the child now has the ability to understand that objects keep existing even when they cannot be seen. An example of this would be hiding the child’s favorite toy under a blanket, although the child cannot physically see it they still know to look under the blanket.

Preoperational: (begins about the time the child starts to talk to about age 7)

During this stage of development, young children begin analyzing their environment using mental symbols. These symbols often include words and images and the child will begin to apply these various symbols in their everyday lives as they come across different objects, events, and situations. However, Dr. Piaget’s main focus on this stage and the reason why he named it “preoperational” is because children at this point are not able to apply specific cognitive operations, such as mental math. In addition to symbolism, children now begin engaging in pretend play where they begin pretending to be people they are not (teachers, superhero’s), and they may use different props to make this pretend play more real ] Some deficiencies in this stage of development are that children who are about 3–4 years old often display what is called egocentrism, which means the child is not able to see someone else’s point of view, they feel as if every other person is experiencing the same events and feelings that they are experiencing. However, at about at 7 thought processes of children are no longer egocentric and are more intuitive, meaning they now think about the way something looks instead of rational thinking.[5]

Concrete: (about first grade to early adolescence)

During this stage, Children begin developing cognitive operations and begin applying this new thinking to different events they may encounter. Unlike the preoperational stage, Children can now change and rearrange mental images and symbols to form a logical thought, an example of this is reversibility in which the child now has the ability to reverse an action just by doing the opposite.

Formal operations:

The final stage of Piaget’s cognitive development defines a child as now having the ability to “think more systematically and rationally about abstract concepts and hypothetical events”. Some positive aspects during this time is that child or adolescent begins forming their identity and begin understanding why people behave the way they behave. However, there are also some negative aspects which include the child or adolescent developing some egocentric thoughts which include the imaginary audience and the personal fable. The imaginary audience of an adolescent that feels that the world is just as concerned and judgmental of anything the adolescent does as they are, they may feel as is they are “on stage” and everyone is a critique and they are the ones being critiqued. A personal fable is when the adolescent feels that he or she is unique person and everything they do is unique. They feel as if they are the only ones that have ever experienced what they are experiencing and that they are invincible and nothing bad will happen to them it will only happen to others.

Erik Erikson
Main articles: Erik Erikson and Psychosocial development

Erikson, a follower of Freud’s, synthesized both Freud’s and his own theories to create what is known as the “psychosocial” stages of human development, which span from birth to death, and focuses on “tasks” at each stage that must be accomplished to successfully navigate life’s challenges.[10]

Erikson’s eight stages consist of the following:

Trust vs. mistrust (infant)
Autonomy vs. shame (toddlerhood)
Initiative vs. guilt (preschooler)
Industry vs. inferiority (young adolescent)
Identity vs. role confusion (adolescent)
Intimacy vs. isolation (young adulthood)
Generativity vs. stagnation (middle adulthood)
Ego integrity vs. despair (old age)

Behavioral theories
Main article: Behavior analysis of child development

John B. Watson’s behaviorism theory forms the foundation of the behavioral model of development 1925.[12] He wrote extensively on child development and conducted research (see Little Albert experiment). Watson was instrumental in the modification of William James’ stream of consciousness approach to construct a stream of behavior theory.[citation needed] Watson also helped bring a natural science perspective to child psychology by introducing objective research methods based on observable and measurable behavior.[citation needed] Following Watson’s lead, B.F. Skinner further extended this model to cover operant conditioning and verbal behavior[citation needed]. Skinner used the operant chamber, or Skinner box, to observe the behavior of small organisms in a controlled situation and proved that organisms’ behaviors are impacted on the environment. Furthermore, he used reinforcement and punishment to shape in desired behavior.
Other theories

In accordance with his view that the sexual drive is a basic human motivation,[citation needed] Sigmund Freud developed a psychosexual theory of human development from infancy onward, divided into five stages.[citation needed] Each stage centered around the gratification of the libido within a particular area, or erogenous zone, of the body.[citation needed] He also argued that as humans develop, they become fixated on different and specific objects through their stages of development.[citation needed] Each stage contains conflict which requires resolution to enable the child to develop.[13]

The use of dynamical systems theory as a framework for the consideration of development began in the early 1990s and has continued into the present century.[14] Dynamic systems theory stresses nonlinear connections (e.g., between earlier and later social assertiveness) and the capacity of a system to reorganize as a phase shift that is stage-like in nature. Another useful concept for developmentalists is the attractor state, a condition (such as teething or stranger anxiety) that helps to determine apparently unrelated behaviors as well as related ones.[citation needed] Dynamic systems theory has been applied extensively to the study of motor development; the theory also has strong associations with some of Bowlby’s views about attachment systems. Dynamic systems theory also relates to the concept of the transactional process,[15] a mutually interactive process in which children and parents simultaneously influence each other, producing developmental change in both over time.[citation needed]

The “core knowledge perspective” is an evolutionary theory in child development that proposes “infants begin life with innate, special-purpose knowledge systems referred to as core domains of thought”[16] There are five core domains of thought, each of which is crucial for survival, which simultaneously prepare us to develop key aspects of early cognition; they are: physical, numerical, linguistic, psychological, and biological

Although the identification of developmental milestones is of interest to researchers and to children’s caregivers, many aspects of developmental change are continuous and do not display noticeable milestones of change. The continuous developmental changes, like growth in stature, involve fairly gradual and predictable progress toward adult characteristics. When developmental change is discontinuous, however, researchers may identify not only milestones of development, but related age periods often called stages. A stage is a period of time, often associated with a known chronological age range, during which a behavior or physical characteristic is qualitatively different from what it is at other ages. When an age period is referred to as a stage, the term implies not only this qualitative difference, but also a predictable sequence of developmental events, such that each stage is both preceded and followed by specific other periods associated with characteristic behavioral or physical qualities.

Stages of development may overlap or be associated with specific other aspects of development, such as speech or movement. Even within a particular developmental area, transition into a stage may not mean that the previous stage is completely finished. For instance, in Erikson’s discussion of stages of personality, this theorist suggests that a lifetime is spent in reworking issues that were originally characteristic of a childhood stage. Similarly, the theorist of cognitive development, Piaget, described situations in which children could solve one type of problem using mature thinking skills, but could not accomplish this for less familiar problems,it is a phenomenon he called horizontal decalage.
